Q. What are the beliefs of ChristianMusicPresenters.com?

Q. Is ChristianMusicPresenters.com affiliated with a denomination?
A. No.

Q. Must I come to an audition if I already have a recording contract?
A. Yes. It is the policy of Christian Music Presenters, Inc. that all Christian artists who benefit from the endorsement of Christian Music Presenters.com submit to the same endorsement process. This process is mandatory to receive the CMP Artist Endorsement.

Q. Will you take a video of my performance for my audition?
A. No. You must be present at the audition. The only exception to this relates to the CMP Large Group Endorsement, which affords a specialized endorsement process for large group ministries and organizations.

Q. If I am already performing concerts and have a booking agent must I still go through this application and audition process?
A. Yes. The CMP Artist Endorsement will enhance your booking opportunities and greatly assist your booking agent in his work.

Q. What is the cost to pursue the Artist Endorsement?
A. The Endorsement Audition fee is:

$75 for a solo artist

$125 for a group of two or more

*If endorsed, your website subscription fee posts your Artist Bio in the CMP searchable database for 12 months. This fee is:

$180 if paying in 2 6-month installments

$295 if paying one annual payment

Q. Does the Endorsement expire?
A. Yes. The CMP Artist Endorsement remains in effect for three years if: subscription fees are current, the artist or group remains in good standing within the presenting community and the artist/group maintains the values of musical excellence, ministry readiness and spiritual integrity. After three years, an artist or group must request a new Endorsement review and audition. CMP will then review the current status of the artist at the three year endorsement anniversary for renewal consideration.

Q. Can you help me book concerts?
A. Christian Music Presenters, Inc. is not a booking agency. We simply facilitate introductions between artists (or their agents) and presenters and allow them to work directly with one another for booking considerations.

Q. Can you help me get a recording contract?
A. Christian Music Presenters, Inc. is not a management company or a recording company. However, Christian Music Presenters, Inc. has a strategic alliance with The Vivici Group, as well as, numerous other noted Christian recording labels. CMP will be glad to assist by directing artists to these helpful resources and organizations.

Q. Can you help me find new songs?
A. Christian Music Presenters, Inc. is not a song service. Christian Music Presenters, Inc., however, has a direct relationship with Vivici Artist Development, and one of the key services of Vivici Artist Development is a song service.

Q. I am just getting started as a Christian artist and I am not sure what to do first. Any suggestions?
A. First, consider learning about the process of endorsement with Christian Music Presenters, Inc. This is a good step forward. Then consider participation in the CMP Emerging Artist Symposium. You can learn more about this in the Artist Forum Section of our website.

Q. Does Christian Music Presenters present primarily one style of music?
A. No. CMP seeks to assist artists and presenters in every imaginable musical style and category.
